She hadn't left her cabin in some time. It was just easier this way, not dealing.
She rose upon hearing the knock at her door, wary only until she heard Sveta's voice on the other side. Angelica answered it with a soft smile, propping herself up between the threshold and the door.]

[She stepped back into her cabin, expecting her friend to follow. She picked her through the array of objects on the floor, skirts lifted over her shoes to keep herself from tripping.] Oh, and pardon the....chaos, I suppose. The urge to tidy seems to have passed me by.
