I would like to make a personal commet to Berkeley activists - you're too late! Yes, yesterday's protest was impressive, though mostly because it was actually organized. However, not only did it parrot what the high school students of LA had already done, but it did so twho whole weeks after the LA protests took place and days after the Senate

Fortunatly/Unfortunatly, UCSC's protests do nothing, because no one cares about UCSC. We have at LEAST one protest per quarter. AT LEAST. Sigh. We just had one yesterday, in fact.
They forced the administration to ask the military recruiters to leave a career fair.
Nevermind the Solomon Amendment was just upheld by the Supreme Court, but they are just so much more important than federal funding!!!
