today was rainy and grey, and my mood was not much better.

why do so many people have to be so spiteful?

i try to focus my energies on the good people in my life, to push the rest to the periphery and not get upset, but lately, i'm straining.

the weather in seattle is quite similar today, but I love this weather and it always improves my mood.

it wouldn't have been so bad, had i not left my umbrella at the american consulate in florence. oi.

it did make me happy to be able to wear a scarf and sweater and still get goosebumps, though!
