I went over plans with mother-deartest, and shes cool. Shes even planning on taking me to the airport the day i leave. I just need to get the passport information gathered up and get that taken care of, and then order the plane tickets.

I went ticket shopping again, found a flight with favorable times of departure, decent layover times, and about 200 bucks cheaper then my orginal plan. Score. I plan on running the trip past mother-unit soon, just so i can get that squared away ( Read more... )

After doing a little bit more number crunching over my bills and income, ive decided to push back the trip by 2 weeks to the second weekend in november. Ive still been kicking around the elvish tattoo idea and i found a line i would totaly want to get done in it. Its from a song by a band called Pushmonkey and theres a chorus part of the song that goes "When i am weakest i am still stonger then you" I typed it up in Tengwar and i like the idea.

I got the good word from my boss that getting time off wont only be ok, but it has to be done in a specfic way that happens to benefit me. I have a week of "newbie" day, as far as i understood, and i can only use them in 2 days or a whole week, i can just take one, or three. Whilst hanging out last night and talking with friends about tattoo ideas, i came up with an interesting one. Take some song lyrics that touch you or speak to you like none other, have them written up in a very decerotive font (i suggested the elvish fonts from Lord of the Rings) and have it coil down your arm or up your leg ( Read more... )
