This is the first scene I wanted to draw from Deathly Hallows. The end result doesn't look anything like it does in my head - I envisioned a much closer view of Harry's face in the covers... another time when I can convince someone to pose the right facial expressions for me!

The letter was an incredible treasure, proof that Lily Potter had lived, really lived, that her warm hand had once moved across this parchment, tracing ink into these letters, these words, words about him, Harry, her son." Mom thought his composition looked better, so here you go. The version above - my initial concept - was supposed to give you a feeling of falling. Really, it works any way.
