YAY! I went out on a date with Dad and it was fun until we started talking about Greece and how I dont' want to go back and stuff. he doesn't understand me so I just kept to myself until he changed subject... it's really complicated and I don't know how to explain it. *sighs ( Read more... )

Why don't you just sit him down and explain to him how you feel...if you tell him to listen to you...and stuff like that... and tell him to think about it in YOUR perspective, maybe he will finally be able to understand or just listen if not understand. I dunno... But I do know how sad you feel... and I know it's gonna be really really hard... but cling to the hope we still have of POSSIBLY coming back... you never know what will happen... it's all up to God. And... I guess... we have to trust in Him. :)

I hear you girls talk about your Dad Dates all the time. I think the concept is a good idea. Would you mom do something like it if you had brothers?

You like libraries and books? And I am teased? :-P Tina told me you have the trophy for 'best reader' the past year. Good work!

One time my dad and mom talked about dates with the children with me. And they did mention that if we had brothers, my mom would have taken them out. But since, we are only girls, my dad gets to take us out. :) (Libby prolly was not there for the conversation) We also did this Passport to Purity thing... and mom spent a weekend with each of us girls, and we listened to tapes about purity. If we had brothers, my dad would have done the SAME thing... I think he was a little sad he didn't have a son to do that with, but overall, he LOVES his daughters! *giggles* And the dates are very fun. It IS a good idea! It gives us ALONE time with our father, and it's special....

Umm... I dunno if she would do that. She doesn't take us out a lot. Maybe a couple times. But I think that we had brothers my Dad woudl take them out too.
I LOVE READING! I just don't want to be a librarian! lol :-P (no offense to you though). I just love reading because I feel like I'm in a whole new world. :)
