Losing Grip

It's only when things look up that they come crashing down.

Why is this so?  Why can't things just stay in equilibrium?  What causes them to topple over in these situations?  What's the point in asking these things when no one can answer them?

I assume that anyone reading my journal are continuous readers, and have read my last update to know about ( Read more... )

Look, Katie. I need to say this to you: Please don't make any decisions out of anger. Sometiimes all we want is revenge. We want to do the opposite of what they told us. Just to piss them off, just to proove them we can do what the heck we want. But you know what... Those decisions are never the smartest. And probably that's not even what what we really wanted for ourselves. You should never act for the others. This is your life. Of course parents butt in everytime. But just going the opposite way, because you're mad... It's just plain wrong. You should take a deep breath and calm down... When you calm down enough, then think about your plans in detail. Think if it's what you really want.

Don't do anything born from angst. It only damages you.

And with time you will see it from many view of angles. Things will seem way too different from each point.

That's all I can say to you, Katie. Please, don't do anything blindly. Things look so easy when you're seeing only red.

*hugs*

Take good care of yourself.

I say these things, this is true, but I fear change most of the time. That fear of something changing and being lost is what keeps me from acting on several things I know I should.

*sighs* I'm fine. I just need to say these things aloud to get my mind around them. Thank you for showing you care, Meg. *hughes*
