[The screen is jostled a bit before it focuses on Dee, elsewhere in Cherrygrove. She appears to be stuffing a few things in her bag. She actually seems serious instead of almost stubbornly cheerful, for once.]

Calm down, Greed. I agree- we should probably get moving too. I heard from someone who used to work for me that the routes have become shorter now, so we won't have to worry about taking too long on them. Someone in another town might know more.

I been trying t' open up the pokeballs, but...'s like they've had their soul removed or something.

[He grins a bit wider. At least his new friends seemed to be unaffected. He reaches in his bag to eat one of the sweets he'd found.] I thought I saw some weird lookin' monster thing, like a bug...skeleton thing, we oughta keep an eye out for those.

[Greed laughs some] No shit? Man, we need t' fight 'em on the way to...what's the city called...Violet? There's a bunch of people headed that way so I heard. Oh hey, and I have some sweets in my rucksack. [He grins] I'll share if you want.

I thought you already did, actually. [Still grinning, she reaches into her pack and pulls out her hand, a candy between each finger.] I guess this means someone really likes us.

[Greed strolls over to meet Dee, missing the familiar presence of his two pokemon that were now stashed in his bag inside their pokeballs. He really hoped he could get them back to normal.]

Hey there. [he grins] You know, I don't just up and leave th' people I'm hangin' out with. Don't worry about that.

I know I don't have to worry with you. [Laughing, she reaches up to kiss him on the cheek.] You're a gentleman.

But now onto the real fun stuff. [She cracks her knuckles.] Time to catch us a giant skeleton bird ♪

[Greed looks smug at the kiss on the cheek] I don't know that anyone's called me that in at least two centuries. [his grin widens to the point where it seems to take up most of his face] Hell yes. I'm gonna get as many of those things as I can.

[After they'd been walking a while, Greed hears a weird noise, and suddenly a missingno appears before them and roars in that weird tinny way again.]

Great! [She fishes for her Pokegear- moments like this have to be caught.] It would be honestly no fun and totally woulda been unfair if they popped up for everyone else and not us.
