It's been a long time since I saw Monsters, INC, so I thought I'd have some trouble getting into these fics at first. Nope! Turns out they read just fine. I love the little details of emotion you put in, like Minion feeling jealous over the doll and and Randall's balancing act between his gruffness and hopeful optimism.

Tres bon!

Oh, don't EVER write something this adorable! I admit I was skeptical at first, as I am of all crossovers, but you have won me over completely. MOAR.

Oh man, I love Kid Mind. I seriously want more fic with him (which I guess is why so far this MM/MI series is planned to deal with KidMind for a while). He was just so sweet and adorable and awesome and cute. And I keep getting struck by the fact that we never hear him talk. (So now I'm pretending he shares Aang's voice actor--yes, total bald adorable kid connection. XD ( ... )

Kid!Megamind breaks my heart, in all the best ways. I just. Every time I watch the movie, the first five minutes make me wibble. Sometimes out loud. And oh, goodness, now you've given him Aang's voice. *melts into a puddle of goo*

Kid!Megamind makes me so sad. The movie just really works at making me feel for Megs, especially his younger self. And Aang's voice fits Kid!Megamind, doesn't it? Ohman, the cute and the sad, can't stand it, but totally love it at the same time.

And it's both sad and spot on that Minion and Randall don't get it yet. (Actually, as much as I adore Minion, I'm not sure he ever really understood just how much Megamind wanted to be "normal.")I've kind of wanted to do fic where an upset Kid!Megamind cracks and asks Minion if he ever feels sad that there's no one else like him too. And Minion--he's not really sure how to answer since he's not precisely sure how he feels about that. His priority has always been caring for Megs. And I think that's the main thing with Minion, the priority ahead of whatever ( ... )

D'awww. The more I read about this particular AU, the more I want to read about this particular AU, if that makes any sense. Crossovers are usually pretty hit-and-miss with me, but this one's definitely a hit. I especially like kid!Megs and kid!Minion bickering like brothers, there.

Thanks! :)

I definitely want to play around with this crossover and have Kid!Megs and Kid!Minion interact with more MI characters, it's just fun. ^_^

And yeah, I see a brotherly dynamic in Megs and Minion's dynamic, so it's nice to know that was clear.

Guess who saw Megamind today? :D

Favourite Dreamworks movie now. :D :D

As a result, reading this was even better now, and yes it does seem like MM doesn't have a memory like normal children- I mean he can remember when he was 8 days old after all...

Great update, can't wait to read more!

It was AMAZING. I nactually teared up a little for both MM and minion at points (especially MM). It was also utterly hilarious. I loved the idea of not giving up and everything and the "Bernard" parts were so sweet (if... slightly wrong) too, because you know MM getting a hug and all. (Awww). And he's so socially clueless that he can't even say 'hello' on the phone and all. I'm egarely anticipating other Aus though- like Roxanne and him meeting up at school ( ... )
