that night because my camera battery was dying.)

A few weeks ago, September 30th to be exact, a bunch of big-name indie musicians came together at The Independent to perform a benefit concert in honor of Pat Spurgeon, the drummer of Rogue Wave. But many cameras were about, and I hope to see a full-length recording of this benefit someday. In the mean time, here is a mini documentary of the event: The Owl Mag Reel Series. There's some great backstage footage of Ben and Nada Surf rehearsing (a song I missed).

In work news, I finally got a new [A week after posting this, I noticed that I left the word "computer" out. Oops.] at work! After 10 months of putting up with a crappy hand-me-down. I am ecstatic. Speeeeeed.
