On Saturday I got to pet my co-worker's big, furry, sweet, white dog (some type of retriever?) for a long time, and it made me happy. I wish I wasn't allergic to dogs.

Sheesh, summer is half over already. It hasn't been much of a summer for me. Far too stressful, far too cold, and far too little vacation time. But here's what I can claim as my accomplishments (for lack of a better word) so far.

- I turned 27.

My good friend/old roommate Stacey moved back to Southern California at the start of this year. I promised I'd go visit her in LA, and I finally did.
