He was absent on both occasions when I visited Acropolis Museum. I guess I have to visit there again ...

I never get tired of looking at him :)

That's a shame that you missed him. He must have been on loan somewhere, like the Pella head which I saw in Oxford. The eyes of this statue are very deeply set.
