Statue of Athena, Louvre
This photo of Athena's statue was taken by my daughter in Louvre in previous April.
I wanted to post it here a long time ago but each time I went to Louvre website or google images, I failed to find the statue. It has to be Athena, who else would be wearing egis but I couldn't find a single reference to this image. I tried Miverva and Pallas as well, just in case, it didn't help either. Anyway, the statue is very impressive, so I decided to post it at last in hopes that somebody will recognize it and provide some details.
