It's a pity that the statues are disfigured though still they look very imposing.

I like the horse a lot. Do you know if it's an original harness or just the likeness of what the harness of that time would look like?

My photos didn't do him justice, but he's quite a handsome man. I suspect the harness is a replica, though presumably based on good evidence.

It's a shame that there is only one wonder left out of those seven wonders. Still, with the little imagination you can see the scale of the magnificent.

I was amused with the lion; with the similarity to 'Japanese lions' at the shrines; the great influence of Silk Road.

Mmmm, I am afraid that if this lion from the Halicarnassus group we can't ascribe the similarity to the influence of the Silk Road, it didn't existed at the time. But it speaks to the like-mindedness of the people who never met each other.

Not exactly this particular lion from Halicarnassus, but I'm sure that the image of 'lion' traveled through Silk Road to China and Japan, since we do not have native lions. Here is the picture of it.
