Easter...cupcakes?

So I've been wanting to implement this idea that Wilton sent to my email about a month ago...but every time I tried to do it or thought of another chance to try, something always stopped me (ex. oven not working, other food being served, etc)

So I finally made these yesterday and took them to kait_the_great's party to be consumed. They turned out pretty well

I didn't get a chance to tell you, but I was really impressed, not just with the decorating, but with the cake itself. What did you use?

Betty Crocker Cake Mix - Chocolate Fudge flavour

Usually when I'm putting that much into the decorating, I don't have the time to make the cake from scratch. :) I find the Duncan Hines and Betty Crocker cake mixes are VERY good for anything that is less than 3 tiers or layers. :)
