Wow, you pack a lot into such a little space! I really enjoyed your development of voice here, too. You get a good sense of the character through the phrasing and vocabulary you chose. That is an excellent quality, my friend! Also, I can't do first-person narratives for the life of me, so I am definitely impressed. :D
