I just got all geared up for a long bike ride, and it started raining. i'll just sit here and wait, because this is portland, and the weather is bound to change within the next 20 minutes ( Read more... )

Hold the peg in while you tighten it, that should do the trick. If not, you might have to get either a new peg or a new saddle.

hmm. i tried holding it in and that didn't seem to work. it would stay in for a bit, but then if i tightened the string without holding it, it flies out. the guitar was brand new when i got it, and it's gotten very little use, so i'd hate to have to do something like replace the saddle. but maybe a new peg would do the trick. i may take it to a shop one of these days to see what they have to say.
