I listened to one of the recordings of my show yesterday - and I am not pleased. The end sounded fine, but the whole beginning is pretty terrible. What kind of mediocrity does this school fester that people had the gall to tell me I did a fantastic job? I need to get a digital recorder and record everything and listen to it from now on. Stop being so hard on yourself. JESUS! You ARE great. So you had a less than perfect performance...that is the biz. Plus, you can't really judge the audiences experience by listening to a recording...AND a lot of the time when you think your acting sucked that is when it was the MOST moving for the audience. So, you should just take a breath. You are a fantastic singer. You have the drive, the talent, the look. You are making the connections. You are on your way.
