If anyone is looking for a book that expounds upon the Paraklesis, here is a book for you! I just finished it as a break between two "heavy duty" books and I really enjoyed it. It is an easy read for such a worthy topic. Just thought I'd pass this along to anyone who reads my LJ. :)

Way cool! I've met Fr. David Smith several times, at Parish Life Conferences and also when he's visited my home parish from time to time. I've placed a moratorium on all spending which is not directly related to my trip, but it's good to know a resource like this exists. Non-Orthodox family members will be the prime beneficiaries, I'm thinking.
