A birdie alarm clock?

This bird, which I think is a cardinal, has been my alarm clock every morning for the past 4 days or so.  He comes onto my balcony, perches on the post, then tries to fly through the screen and glass door.  This happens countless times until mid morning.  I am not really sure what to do about it but I pray he will get tired of failing and go away ( Read more... )

You may want to try hanging some strips of paper or fabric on the outside of the screen door. That should help him get his bearings and see that there's a barrier there.

Hopefully the barrier works. Otherwise, I'm sure that the alarm will be waking you up earlier and earlier as we move into summer.

Thankfully, it worked. Two mornings without a wake up call! Now, to make it prettier than a piece of paper hanging on my screen door! lol
