During the last week I was faced with a disappointment in my life. Because of this disappointment, I thought of all my disappointments. My one disappointment became a tower of disappointments that just overwhelmed me. It hit me hard and I really struggled with what I could learn from this - other then humility.. again

I am a recent discoverer of the Church, but I grew up Evangelical Christian. I have been very devoted to the Lord, as He was taught in my church through the years (I'm 23 now), but after discovering Him in the fullness of Orthodoxy, I have been blown away. I never knew Saints could be so real and present, just as the angels are. I never knew God gave us people to ask for help who were there anytime we needed them. I feel so blessed to have found this Church!
