A chance to forgive and grow in God?

Three weeks ago, my mother fell and broke her arm and shoulder.  Since then, she has been declining.  At this point, she is unable to do much for herself. She will have limited mobility in her right arm due to the break.  The doctors will not operate because of her age and frailty.  She has a occupational therapist, physical therapist and nurse
