I wonder if anyone has actually read one of Alexander Dumas' books without breaking to read another book in-between..and has anyone actually read all of "Paradise Lost?" I would love to sit down and talk with someone who has read all of "Paradise Lost" on their own free will. I tried....didn't get very far. Looked good, but other books were calling

gahh i did not like candide..i had to read it in english and do a million bajillion questions and ltd and essay and it sucked. books arent that great when you have to analyze them to death.

over analyzing is an attempt to turn great books into standard currriculum. In some cases it may be correct, but it is mostly over exagerated and, even more often, it is not needed at all.
