I'd be somewhat interested in taking part in the art mail exchange, I'm a little intimidated by the thought of sending anything I do to other artists and calling it "art" though, its been a long time since I did anything I would call art.
it entails a lot of questions and such, as well as a list of other users who are willing to participate. currently we are using the forum's Personal Message feature for swapping the mailing information. which means if you are not already a member you'll have to register. i also encourage you to spread the word and get more art-fellas in on the exchange.
i'm not too concerned with skill level of participants. so far a lot of working professionals and artists have hopped on board, but theres also a lot of teenagers who just want to share their doodles. to me, its all cool. a poorly drawn image is better than junk-mail as far as i'm concerned.
so weird, i just got back into drawing in a big bad way, and you've stopped (!!??) what the hell, i think the universe is about to implode
i thought i hit my artistic peak at 16 because the first drawing a tried look like the drawing Napoleon Dynamite drew of Trisha... so i realized faces arent my thing. then i drew a ninja and it was awesome, compared to "trisha" anyway
i draw on a daily basis. i just dont have the time for the quality or quantity i should be doing, and that makes me squirm in discomfort and gnash my teeth whenever i am forced to do things against my will.
holy crap, i just realized how theraputic drawing is, let me show you what i just drew, and remember this is only the 2nd or 3rd day of drawing since i was 16 so cut me some slack haha
