Pairing: Akanishi Jin x Kamenashi Kazuya // AKAME //
Genre: Romance, Fluff
Rating: NC-17
Disclaimer: I don't own any characters mentioned in this story and I don't make any profit out of this.
Summary: They’ve just had their first serious fight a few weeks before Christmas, and things had gotten more serious between them. Too serious, probably, since Jin could remember he had already thought about how to break up with Kazuya back then.
But that Christmas had been special.
A/N: I am not native English, but I have been living in the UK for quite some time, so I am used to write and speak it. Correct any mistakes, though; you are more than welcome to.
Okay. Does anyone remember Fade into the Backgroud?
I had to find today that I don't really remember lots of it; it feels so long ago. It's been more than a year that I started writing it. It was finished in June, and ever since, I have been dying to write this Oneshot, but I figured June was not the appropriate season to write Christmas Stories.
So, since it's Christmas time now, I decided to take my time today and write this down. And no, this is no excuse to write them making out just once again >.<
The summary is an extract from the twelfth chapter in which both Kazuya and Jin remember their Christmas in 2005. So, it is taking place in between the ninth and tenth chapter, but closer to the storyline in chapter 9.
You don't necessarily have to have read Fade into the Background to understand this, I guess. But it makes more sense, I think, if you actually had ;)
So, with this long comment, on to the Christmas Oneshot! I wish all of you guys reading a very merry Christmas time ♥ Much love!!
Fade Into the Background: White Colours
Jin wondered if they would have snow this Christmas. It was cold outside and the air felt freezing, but still it didn’t snow.
The streets were sparkling in warm Christmas colours and he only noticed couples coming by. But probably he only just noticed them, since he envied them so much.
Things between him and Kazuya were okay again; after that night at Yamashita’s they had fought, but eventually they had both given in; unable to take it any longer.
It was frightening how much they needed each other and Jin knew that being together probably wasn’t right.
He was planning his next step already. He was planning how to let go of Kazuya; knew it was the right thing to do.
But at the same time, the thought itself hurt so much already.
Shaking his head, he went on and rubbed his hands slightly to warm them up.
He wasn’t sure if he’d even get to see Kazuya today, but he assumed he would better be prepared; just in case.
Turning to walk into one of the shops, Jin slightly shook his shoulders to get rid of the cold getting through to his bones.
He looked around the shop and thought about buying something sweet, but wasn’t entirely sure if Kazuya would even eat them.
Jin didn’t see him eating sweets often, but he was sure Kazuya didn’t really dislike them.
He decided on some pink and gold wrapped chocolate and paid, before he left again.
It was just to show that he thought of Kazuya, after all. He didn’t want this to become too special.
When he came back home, he turned on the heater in the living room and in his bed room. It was dark outside, but still not late.
Checking his mail, Jin sat down to his couch and frowned at the letter from his mother. He opened it and smiled, reading the words she wrote for him. He’d most likely go over the next day to see them and spend some time home.
As he came to the end of the letter, he frowned over her words, titled his head.
Do you remember those? I took them a few months ago, when you came here with your friends. They are lovely; I thought you might want to have them.
Jin put the letter aside and looked into the envelope, pulling out a bunch of photos.
He grinned as he saw himself and Yamashita fooling around in the garden of his parents’ house. They were chasing each other.
The next photo showed Jin with a soccer ball, showing off some kind of trick. The next one must have been taken shortly after that, since it was Yamashita and Kazuya this time; laughing badly--- Jin remembered he had fallen while doing the trick.
He smiled and flipped through them, grinning at each one like a child. His expression changed when he saw the last one.
It was the only one that showed him with Kazuya.
He had his arm around the younger one’s shoulders, pulling him close. Kazuya’s arm was around Jin’s waist, his other hand resting over Jin’s stomach to find hold.
He looked happy, Jin thought and smiled. They both did. Their faces were beaming of happiness, Jin’s gesture possessive, Kazuya’s not less.
As if they’d belong together.
They probably did; just as the photo showed them. Close, holding on to each other.
But still, they couldn’t be like this. Not entirely.
Jin put everything back to the envelope, only the last picture remained in his hand, as he got up. He opened one of the drawers from the table at the left side of the room and pulled out a black box.
No one would ever get to know of this box; Jin mostly forgot about it himself. It contained nothing else than photos of Kazuya. Some of them he had taken himself, others were from magazines, showed them together. There were some he had gotten like this one from his mother or friends.
But from each of them, Kazuya would smile back at him and Jin treasured them a lot.
Whenever he had to be without Kazuya, he would only have to pull this out and he’d be able to look at his face; his smile.
As the door bell rang, he quickly put the photo inside and shoved the box back into the drawer. Then he got up again and hurried to the door, opening up.
“Merry Christmas”, Kazuya greeted him in broken English, smiling widely as he rushed in.
Jin grinned and closed the door behind him, looking at Kazuya as the younger one kicked off his shoes, holding up a white box.
“I brought cake.”
“Because we just love sweets?”, Jin asked with a confused expression.
Kazuya chuckled, obviously in a good mood. “It’s a Christmas cake, Jin. That’s what couples have for Christmas.”
Laughing, the older one took the box from him, carrying it to the kitchen.
Kazuya followed him, after he had pulled off his coat, neatly placing it to the wardrobe in the corridor.
Jin turned to him, as Kazuya came in; saw him rubbing his hands, breathing into his palm to warm them up.
“Are you cold?”
Kazuya nodded. “It’s freezing outside.”
“It’ll surely snow tonight.”
Kazuya looked to the window, to the black sky. “It couldn’t get any more romantic for us, could it?”, he asked dryly.
The corners of Jin’s mouth went up and he walked over to Kazuya, taking the younger one’s hands in between his. “I guess I don’t have candles here.”
Kazuya looked up at him, raising his chin. “I wasn’t expecting you to”, he said, before Jin’s lips met his.
They stood like that, kissing slowly; Kazuya moved his hands in Jin’s until he could lace their fingers. He titled his head to the side, getting another angle, when he opened his lips, let his tongue slip over Jin’s lips.
The older one answered it with tugging at Kazuya’s hands to draw him closer to his body. They sank into their kiss and when Jin sighed into it, freed one hand to take hold of Kazuya’s jaw, the younger one broke it.
“Warm me up, Jin”, he whispered and turned, tugging Jin with him to the bedroom. Jin was just too happy to give in and follow Kazuya.
Their fight had done them quite well. They knew to savour their relationship through it. They had found the value in what they shared.
Even if it was inappropriate or the wrong path to follow; to them it felt right and it did them good.
Jin tugged Kazuya back on his hand, embracing him from behind, placing his lips over the brunette’s neck, making him shiver.
Kazuya sighed pleasantly, turned to Jin and drew him into his embrace, pushing his hands into Jin’s hair as their lips found again, exchanging slow kisses.
Nothing was rushing them; they kept the slow pace, stumbling into the bedroom, falling onto the bed.
Jin straddled Kazuya, got hold of his wrists and looked down at him, licking his lips.
“You look like you’d want to eat me”, Kazuya commented with a smirk.
Jin returned it. “I’ll probably do that.”
“I’ll probably let you”, was all Kazuya managed to answer breathily, when Jin caught his lips again.
The game extended. They exchanged kisses, Jin slid off of Kazuya, to his side and they lay like that for a while, faces close, looking at each other.
Kazuya held Jin’s hand in his, playfully moving his fingers against Jin’s. He brought it up to his lips, placed kisses over the older one’s fingertips, smiling at him.
“Still cold?”, Jin wanted to know quietly after a while.
Kazuya shrugged a shoulder, shifting closer. “A bit.”
Jin gripped the blanket and sprawled it over them, covered their bodies with it. Kazuya nodded, holding on to Jin’s hand and nuzzled close.
Placing a kiss to Kazuya’s forehead, Jin let his free hand slip beneath Kazuya’s shirt, caressed the soft skin beneath. Kazuya answered it with a kiss to Jin’s neck, lazily moving his lips against it, playfully moving the tip of his tongue over some spots.
Jin smiled, let his hand slide down to the waistline of Kazuya’s pants, tugging it.
Lifting his head, Kazuya got up a bit, to lean over Jin, resting on his arm. Jin wasn’t sure what he was up to, but he saw the change in the younger one’s expression, saw him getting distracted.
“Hey, I am here”, Jin said, pretending a pout. “Do…”
Kazuya looked at him again, placed a peck to his lips to silence Jin. “It’s snowing.”
Moving his head to the side, Jin looked out of the window; saw the slowly dancing, white snow petals falling from a dark sky. Some were already sticking to the window glass.
“Couldn’t get any more romantic”, Kazuya teased Jin with a kinky smile as he kissed him again, deeper this time.
Jin lifted his hands, framed Kazuya’s face and pulled him closer, drew him into the kiss, his tongue sliding into Kazuya’s mouth, twirling around the younger one’s.
“Get rid of those clothes and I’ll show you it could.”
Kazuya laughed, but did as he was told, stripping off of his shirt, throwing it carelessly to the floor, before he got back to kiss Jin again.
Jin’s hands automatically got hold of Kazuya’s waist and he pushed him back down, sliding his chest over Kazuya’s while kissing him. His fingers brushed over Kazuya’s stomach, down to the button of his jeans, opening it slowly, unzipping the denim.
Kazuya licked his lips, his hands came to slide beneath Jin’s pullover and he ran his fingers over the older one’s back, mumbling his name.
Jin got the hint, lifted his upper body slightly to pull off the fabric. Kazuya immediately got up as well, pressing his lips to Jin’s stomach, holding his waist tightly. He let his tongue flick over Jin’s navel, slightly digging it into the flesh.
Jin caught his breath, ran a hand over Kazuya’s hair, as the younger one moved down, let his lips wander over the sensitive skin to the waistline of Jin’s jeans, placing a kiss over the fabric.
Kazuya’s hands moved down, he brushed them over Jin’s hips, before they came to his back, sliding beneath the line of his jeans. He licked his lips, before Kazuya placed another kiss over the denim fabric, lower this time, making Jin release a groan.
He smiled and his hands pulled back, made their way to unbutton Jin’s jeans, opening them to pull them down to Jin’s knees.
Jin took hold of Kazuya’s head, buried his fingers in the strands of brunette, as the younger one’s lips came dangerously low. But Kazuya sidestepped him and moved his hand up from Jin’s knee, gently stroking the skin beneath his fingers.
“Kazuya…”, Jin hissed, as he felt his lover running a finger over his erection.
The younger one smiled, placed another kiss to Jin’s stomach, before he leaned back, against the headboard of the bed and gave Jin a sneaky look.
“Didn’t you say you were going to show me?”
Jin looked down at him for a moment, then he leaned in, kissed Kazuya again, breathless, hard and soft at the same time.
The brunette sighed into it, let Jin take control. He felt rough hands coming down his body, trailing over his sides to his hips, pushing fabric down.
His hips moved up when Jin gripped him tightly, making him release a moan.
As Kazuya closed his eyes, gasped for breath, Jin brought his lips to his jaw, kissed the spot beneath Kazuya’s ear.
“I will”, he murmured and felt Kazuya’s arms coming firmly around his shoulders to hold him exactly where he was.
Close; erasing everything that could keep them apart.
The windows looked white.
Kazuya had his head put to Jin’s chest and he almost doze off to the feeling of it slightly raising and falling under Jin’s breath.
He had one arm over Jin’s stomach, his hand laced with Jin’s. Jin’s other hand was buried in Kazuya’s hair and was playfully tugging at some strands, brushing through the mess every now and then.
It was as if something was shutting them out from the world. With those white windows, they couldn’t watch the outside, but at the same time, no one could look into their world.
“I guess I am hungry”, Kazuya murmured after a while, but didn’t move.
Jin didn’t make any attempts, either. But then he reached out his hand and opened the drawer next to his bed, getting out the nicely wrapped chocolate he had bought today.
Kazuya looked at him, followed his moves.
“You’re giving me what you got from a fan?”
Jin laughed. “You don’t think that, do you?”
Kazuya remained silent for a moment. “So, you bought something for me?”
Jin nodded, patting his lover’s head. “Just something small.”
“Is it chocolate?”
“Only, if you like some.”
Laughing, Kazuya lifted his head now, sitting up. “I do like chocolate.”
“Then it’s Christmas chocolate for you.”
“What would it have been, if I didn’t like chocolate?”
Jin grinned at him, as he handed it to Kazuya. “Anything but chocolate.”
Giggling, Kazuya leaned in and placed a kiss to Jin’s lips. “Thanks.”
Jin waited for a moment, saw Kazuya carefully looking at it and putting it to the other side of the bed then, before he withdrew from Jin.
“I thought you were hungry?” Jin frowned, as Kazuya left the bed. “Where are you going?”
Kazuya smiled. “There’s no way I could eat that. It’s gone then, and I don’t want it to be gone.”
Jin followed Kazuya out the room with a questioning look. He sat up and leaned back, making himself more comfortable in his bed. The room was only elucidated by the light of the small lamp on his night stand and it made the white windows seem golden. Jin felt sleepy, but forced his eyes open.
He thought, he’d miss this precious time with Kazuya if he wasted it sleeping. Somehow, this night had turned out special. Even more special than any other night before.
Probably, because it was Christmas, Jin thought and remembered how they had spent Christmas for the first time together. Kazuya had been dumped by his date that night, and Jin had picked him up in the cold rain.
Kazuya came back with the white box and placed it at the night stand, before he crawled back into bed to Jin.
He crouched between Jin’s legs, leaned in and kissed the older one. He let it spun out for a bit, then he turned and leaned with his back against Jin’s chest, tugging the blanket up to his waist. Jin’s arms automatically came around him and he smiled, as Kazuya opened the box, revealing a small cake with white icing, reading Merry Christmas in green and red letters.
He decided not to comment on it.
The brunette got out a piece and took a bite, making a pleasant noise. He then leaned to his side a bit, to slightly turn to Jin and be able to look at the older one.
He offered Jin a bite as well, and the older one smiled, leaned in then to kiss Kazuya’s lips.
“It’s sweet”, he commented and grinned at Kazuya’s expression.
“Jin”, Kazuya just said and held the piece of cake in front of Jin’s mouth.
Giving in, Jin leaned in, took a bite and then pulled a face. “Too sweet.”
Kazuya laughed, turned back and finished the rest of the piece. Jin placed kisses over his shoulder, down his spine and pulled him close.
“I like this”, Kazuya stated then, after another piece from the cake. His hands were covered with white icing, but he didn’t care. He started to lick it off, turning to Jin again.
Jin had his lips closed over Kazuya’s shoulder and he just raised his look to the younger one. “I know”, he said and took Kazuya’s other hand, helping him to clean it off.
“I feel like falling asleep”, Kazuya whispered, as he looked at Jin, as if he wanted to ask him to stop him from doing so.
Shaking his head, the older one let go of Kazuya’s hand, holding his waist again. He closed the box, putting it with his free hand to the night stand. “When you’ve finished off the cake. I’ll let you go to sleep only then.”
“I am not hungry anymore.”
Jin smiled, made Kazuya turn in his embrace to kiss him again. Kazuya’s arms came around his collar and he shifted to change the angle of their kiss.
“I’ll make sure you’ll be.”

Thank you so very much for reading, everyone ♥ I hope you liked it!
Oh, and by the way.... Is there anyone interested in a sequel Oneshot to Kamen? I died for Tegoshi being in a Drama again, but what made me die a second time is that Kame and Uchi will be together in that Drama.
This gave me lovely ideas to how Jin would find that, those two spending so much time together, after everything that happened in Kamen.
Anyone up for a Oneshot to that? ^^;;;
