Title: It's easy
Pairing: Sakurai Sho x Ohno Satoshi
Genre: Fluff
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the characters in this story. I don't make profit with this.
Summary: It's just a day like any other, with a small exception.
A/N: English isn't my mother tongue, but I've been living in the UK for quite a time, so I basically write and speak well. You're welcome to correct any mistakes, though. Of course.
This is the drabble
pizzarolls46 requested for the drabble meme I put up a while ago. It's my first time actually writing an Arashi pairing and ... uh, it was rather hard on me. I love Arashi, but I still feel like I got their characters wrong XD
So, this is very subtle and more of fluff than anything else, but I hope you still like it!
I won't repost this to any Arashi fanfic comms, since I am really not confident in this, at all. I am sorry,
pizzarolls46 , but I hope you still like it >_<
Enjoy reading ♥
It's easy
It was still early in the morning, the sun had just risen up, when Sho made his way into the studio.
He didn’t actually get how anyone could settle a photoshooting for half past five in the morning, when not one single person in the world could look decent and fresh.
“What’s with the gloomy face, Sho-kun”, he heard a gentle voice say and turned to Ohno, who had just come into the studio, as well.
“It’s too early”, he answered and yawned.
Ohno checked his watch and shrugged a shoulder. “I always get up this early, when I go fishing. They bite much better in the mornings.”
Sho turned away and saw Aiba coming into the room. “You’re scary.”
Ohno just slightly smiled at that, before he dropped on a couch in the corner of the room.
“I’ve brought breakfast for everyone”, Aiba said excitedly and hurried over to them.
Sho frowned, taking a bag from Aiba’s hand and looked inside. “Since when do you take care of our meals?”
“It’s what you do usally”, Jun said, who had apparently just come in.
“Sorry.” Aiba gave Sho an apologatic smile. “I was just getting breakfast on my way and thought I’d get some for everyone.”
“No one’s eating the breakfast you eat, anyway.” Nino had appeared, too and he yawned. “Sho, go and get us something else.”
“Huh?” Sho gave him a puzzled look. “I’m not in charge of taking care of your breakfast. Ask some of the ADs; I already had breakfast.”
“Not everyone gets up two hours before a job to properly have breakfst”, Jun pointed out, obviously taking Nino’s side.
“But I brought breakfast for everyone”, Aiba butted in.
“It’s still too early to eat, however.”
They went silent and everyone stared at Ohno for a moment.
“It’s just too early to eat what others would have for lunch.” With that, Nino got Aiba into a fight and Jun - because he just couldn’t let them be - tried to make them both see they were wrong.
Sho gave Ohno a smile and sat down next to him on the couch.
“Thanks.”
Ohno shrugged a shoulder. “It’s easy to get off their hook, actually.”
Sho frowned. “It is?”
“Yeah. Kazu loves to fight with Aiba-kun.”
Sho laughed and they sat side by side, enjoying the early morning with watching Nino, Jun and Aiba fight, until the shooting began.
Later, when they were on the way to recordings for an episode of Himitsu no Arashi-chan, Sho tried to nap for a moment in the car.
Those moments were actually the best chance to do so, since the car could only roll slowly through the crowded streets of Tokyo to get them from one studio to another.
He closed his eyes and tilted his head back, but opened them again, when he felt someone patting his knee.
“Ne, Sho-kun”, Aiba said, “are you sleeping?”
Sho raised a brow. “I am trying to.”
Aiba sat in front of him and had turned in his seat - an obvious sign he wasn’t going to leave Sho alone very soon. Jun sat next to him, while Nino peacefully slept in the front. Ohno was next to Sho.
Usually, they didn’t sit in that order, but because Nino and Aiba still hadn’t made up from their fight in the morning, they had decided for this.
“You’re on my side, aren’t you?” Aiba had lowered his voice.
Sho sighed. “I’m not taking anyone’s side. I’m just trying to sleep.”
Ohno looked up from the magazine he had read in. “Is Kazu still mad at you?”
Aiba shrugged a shoulder. “I’m mad at him, too.”
“Can’t you just make up now?”
Aiba smiled at Ohno, his usual affactionate smile. “Riida is being worried about us?”
Ohno frowned. “I’m just feeling uncomfortable, when you guys fight.”
“Nino’s going to be mean even in front of the camera”, Sho threw in.
Aiba seemed to seriously think about that. But then, he shook his head slightly and turned in his seat again. “Nino’s always mean.”
“I can hear you, you know”, Nino said loudly from his seat in the front. He didn’t bother to turn around or even open his eyes, as it seemed.
Sho shook his head and shifted in his seat, trying to find a comfortable position. He tilted his head against the headrest and moved his shoulders, but nothing seemed right.
“You can put your head to my shoulder, if you want”, Ohno offered.
Sho opened his eyes and gave him a surprised look, then he leaned in and put his head to Ohno’s shoulder.
It was actually really comfortable, he thought and yawned again, closing his eyes to finally find some sleep. He heard Ohno turning pages in his magazine and Aiba and Jun talking about some video game; instantly shifting closer to the warmth next to him.
When Ohno tilted his head against Sho’s hair, he suddenly felt strangely calm and safe and he was just seconds away from his peaceful nap.
Until Aiba’s voice piped up again.
“Riida and Sho-chan are cuddling!”
Sho decided to not open his eyes this time, he just pretended to sleep and nuzzled closer to Ohno - what earned him three loud gasps.
“Shh”, Ohno made and the other three fell silent. Apparently, Aiba’s announcement had even made Nino turn to them now. “You’re going to wake him up.”
It fell silent and suddenly, it stayed really silent in the whole car. Sho waited for another two minutes, before he opened his eyes slowly and tilted his head back to look up at Ohno.
The older man glanced at him and they exchanged a quick grin, before Sho put his head back to Ohno’s shoulder.
And this time, he really fell asleep.
He didn’t think it was funny that he had a thick, black beard drawn to his face, when they arrived later.
But, Sho thought and threw a look at Ohno, as he came from the restroom, his face unstained again; it had been worth it.
