Hey, I used to worry about evolving too, sometimes. I think it's kinda normal.
You know... If you wanted, I could try and find an Everstone for you. As long as you're holding it, you can't evolve. And besides, they taste pretty good.
Course its dumb. From what I hear bout a lot of them other types, all they have to do is fart out a flower and go on there merry way or something like that. They dont have to deal with dumb shit.
It feels weird. But you're not different. S'more like...
People change when they get older, s'part of life. Just like how you want to be braver. Sometimes it's in little steps, but you're still changing. Evolving is just like a big chunk, all at once. Takes getting used to, but you're just takin' a jump towards the person you're supposed to be.
Mac went back to his dorm sometime around the morning from working out. He was really sweaty and gross, fully ready to shower and get rid of all the stickiness he felt. The moment he walked in his dorm, he saw the note.
Mac's eyes gazed at it for a few moments. Hadn't he seen this scenario before? Like in movies? Mac's gut felt weird, probably not just because he might've been hungry. Mac didn't like this feeling at all. And he knew he had to follow it and see for himself what this was about. Maybe it wasn't what he thought it might be about. Because...he wouldn't know what to do if it was.
He did take his shower and dress into non sweaty clothes and did meet Spinarak at the tree as she requested. If she was completely visible, he waved at her.
Spinarak was probably pacing back and forth in front of the tree while she waited. She was so, so nervous. For a spider that usually didn't talk much in person, she was going to have a handful of things to say today. When she saw Mac approach, she drew a quick breath in and stood still before giving a wave back.
"...Hello." A pause. "...Hope...I didn't cause...too much trouble..."
"Of course you didn't," Mac said. And he was honest. Mac DID love Spinarak, probably not in a way she would expect. The love was not romantic, sisterly basically. This note was important, and it probably took a lot of thinking over and pulling together for Spinarak to set up. Mac is going to try his hardest to respect that, no matter what she actually wanted to see him about.
"...So...what's up?" Mac continued as he held the note in his hand. "You need to tell me somethin'?"

Anyway, yeah, sure. You're welcome... I think you can find them on wild Geodudes or something. Red found mine in Mt. Moon, I think.
