From various casts, but the two Elphabas are Idina and Stephanie, 'cause they're my favorites. Most of the big pretty pictures are from the Tour, which I adore.

can I just say that im not being biast but OMG Idina Menzel is the best Elphaba EVER!

its so natural and its sad how people bagged her for not singing well at the Tony awards because of her breathing and its because she had an asma attack before the show but she still sang! that's commitment :)

Yeah i luv Idna!!!!!
She's an amazing singer and actress!
Why should it matter if that wasn't her best day!
It's not her fault that she had an asthma attack.

The only thing is: in the musical the photo with Doctor Dillamond would come directly after the one with Elphaba teasing Galinda. Just to let you know. ^^

This is the most comprehensive and beautiful collection of pictures from the show I've come across. Thank you so much for posting these! On the other hand, you've basically cemented the fact I'll be slaving away in Photoshop for the next three weeks crafting a new cast painting. The last project of this caliber I attempted was in 2006 (which hasn't exactly aged well)

Love the musical, although i have never read the book, mainly because all my friends say it isnt very good. (We are all obsessed with the musical). I have ended up seeing the musical 3 times, and know the whole script off my heart :P Ik im obsessed.
