I really enjoyed this. As a matter of fact, this is my second reading. I think that the lack of detail is what really nails it, the almost...austerity of the words that are there paint a very specific picture. I especially loved the little parenthetical asides you give, it's such a great effect--it gives it almost a fairy tale quality.

Like everybody else I really love that you've got Shoshanna in a position of power here. I think I'm going to have to read it again because I've been reading the entire piece like it's a dream! Anyhoodle, amazing work!
