I haven’t posted for so long about anything substantive that now I feel compelled to just blurt out a bunch of random stuff:

The fun parts in life should not be drama, so you're wise to forgo hockey this year, especially as you wind things down with your job and make a huge move. Moving is stressful enough.

I don't suppose they have the capability to Skype you in at the next family therapy session, do they? J is in Norway this week and Skype has once again proven its great worth.

Thanks to BBCAmerica I'd heard of car booting. You got some great deals there.

Skype is what the plan is for this week's session. I got a webcam and I think we're good to go.

Well, the old fella who sold us the Le Creuset frying pans clearly thought we might have stealing in mind--it took us 20 minutes to convince him to accept a check! But J was determined that she was *not* leaving without them, and in the end he gave in and decided we were respectable.
