Hi. I love drama! The extracurricular plays are over for the year, but I'm doing A Midsummer Night's Dream in my drama class. What plays/scenes are you doing?

Oh, I love A Midsummer Night's Dream! That's great!

For my class I'm only doing only one scene, from a play called The Last Night of Ballyhoo. It's set in late 1930, right before WWII, and it's a romantic comedy that deals with growing up Jewish in the south. I play Sunny Freitag. My scene partner and I have absolutely no chemistry and he's really rather over the top and impossible to deal with. ...But I'll survive.

My extra thing is a very contemporary piece that the director (one of the older students) hasn't emailed me yet (which frustrates me to no end), but it's about an adopted daughter and her father. My friend Alex plays my dad, which is a relief that I don't have to work with another difficult-type.

And, in another drama class we're working on Measure for Measure by Shakespeare.

I've got a lot to do, but at least it's work I enjoy doing. *glares at math homework*
