so.... for the past two days they have been doing a mini audit of my office... which is nothing like it sounds. I was surprised too. Apparently it means someone coming in and taking all of the backlog of work, putting it in piles, handing it to me and staring at me while i do it. you can go work for VyStar Credit Union. They start off at 11.11 an hour but you should be able to ask for more since you have 3 years in office exper.

is it even legal to take away overtime?

you're not on salary, and i'm pretty sure an employer is forced to pay for overtime.

i'll see what i can find on it...

well.. i mean yeah... they are required to pay for it so i am no longer allowed to work more than 8 hours a day ... so there will be no way that i can keep up with the work... which sucks. loving you

there s always blue cross blue shield. Sucks to work for them as you are on the phones all day - but decent pay, PTO and cheap benefits for employees... and occasional overtime.

hmmm... hadn't thought of them ... maybe they have something in their HR department... my mom worked for them and hated it but.... it may have changed some since then. i really don't care if i have to be on the phones if i am getting paid well. thanks for the idea.... i am loving you muchly.
