You know what?

I'm tired of hearing about 9/11 and doing something in school to remember it every year. Yeah, it was tragic and I feel bad for everyone directly effected...

But really, making your gym class run up and down the stairs of Teacher's College just is not okay.

I'm so glad it's tomorrow and not Monday. How sad is that?

what does running stairs have to do with 9-11? Are you simulating the burning people as they frantically try to make their way out of the falling buildings? Cuz that seems a bit grotesque.

cuz the coach have a nerf gun, and shoot the slowest person, claiming that, had they happened to have the cruel fate of being in those buildings, they'd be 'burning in hell' right now? Because they were slow?

Does the coach ever tell his students they're burning in hell?

i think running up and down the stairs is a stupid thing to do in relation to 9/11.
however.
you can't just write it off either.
i think it's important to mark it out each year.
but then, that's me.

I don't want to write it off, I'm just tired of dealing with people who act like it happened September 11, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005...

I needs mention, not a whole day devoted to it in school.

you know what I think sucks?
You know how you always get these social studies projects, to find someone who personally remembers where they were and what they were doing, when JFK was assasinated? And you have to interview that person?

That's going to be us, in 30 years, with 9-11. Damn history teachers.
