On eBay, I bought my wife the ultimate evening shoe: the Jimmy Choo Juliet sandal in silver (not gold as shown).
Yeah, there's nothing special about it, but it's classic and in a metallic colour, so it will never go out of style. The previous owner even had a cobbler put a non-slip pad on the bottom, a $20+ value! Unfortunately, it's slightly too small! I just found out that they run small...
Then, I saw an auction for the exact same shoe, half a size larger, and I didn't win! Argh the chances of the same item showing up again will be extremely slim as this style has been discontinued. Looks like she's wearing runners at the next person's wedding.
