Life is ok at the moment. I think I'm finally making a move on what I want to do with the rest of my life. The horse training thing isn't going to work out, so I'm saving up for 2 possibilities. I can either

I typically go for the cheaper option =P You may have a better chance at getting a major foot in the door by being an assistant, considering that'd be practically free (or paid, even) time in the "lab" and direct experience.
I'm considering going a new degree route myself, for Medical Transcription. I basically need to just get certified by whatever board it is, instead of having the actual degree per se, so I'm checking to see whether I can just do a training course of some kind to get certified, or if I need to actually get an Associate Degree from Vernon to even make a difference =P

LOL! No worries. Hey, are we playing Halo or whatever, tonight?
Since I'm headed to the vet next week, I'm going to ask my vet (who graduated from A&M, oddly enough) what I should do. I'd rather skip college all together if I could. I love college and all, but the expenses are rather high. Maybe I'll get lucky and she'll offer me a job:D I've noticed that a lot of vet techs don't have any college degrees, in this town. Other places make you take tests and such, though.
I saw something on the A&M site about medical transcription. If you become a BIMS (Biomedical Sciences major), you can do lots of stuff, including medical transcription. Course, that's if you want a degree in it, if I understand correctly. Sounds like it could be a neat field:)
