last night was just lovely. i got off campus to go check out the new gallery exhibits at the "first friday" events in portland. art really is one of my only medicines. i have been so stressed and depressed lately, so just to be out of bates and away from midterms and essays, and going out into a vibrant and creative atmosphere really soothed me
