Suddenly seems more feasible when your best friend tells you that he knows people who own land there and his family has been invited to stay for a number of months. School Supplies for Kids in Afghanistan

A friend of mine has a brother serving as on a medevac team in Afghanistan and he and another friend of his are collecting money to give school supplies to kids in the area he is working in. Bah. One of those sort of several days where I seem sort of melancholy at points. Had a nice evening doing quiet things at home, with the exception of the loud action movie. The movie was both rather enjoyable and got me sort of riled up, but I will post about that later. For now, meeting prep. -

Just lost my fricking post. I had copied something from a friend, and was half way though making comments on the long list of stuff, and it got eaten. No draft saved. Guess this is a sign that I should go back to something else. -

Eeep. Too much to do, too much heat. Record highs in Portland - hotter than Texas and Arkansas where I will be the rest of this week and next. More later, probably once elsewhere in the country.
