Excalibur was on her way to the library when she spotted the man appear in the center of town. He definitely looked a bit lost and out of place.

Since her arrival, Excalibur had quickly fallen in love with the clothing styles that were most common in Hillview Falls, so she was dressed like all the rest (though without the weird embroidery around the neck). After watching a few people ignore him, she crossed the street and headed over. "Hello there, just arrived I see?"

He must've been dreaming... He must have... Elton put his hands on his head, as if that might help his brain speed up and suddenly reason everything out. He did notice that no one seemed to notice he had just appeared and was silently freaking out.

He gasped when hearing Excalibur, hearing her before seeing her. He hadn't noticed she had walked up. Did things just not get noticed here? Well, obviously not. She was noticing him now. Oh, she had spoken to him, hadn't she?

"Uh-- yeah... Do people normally just... arrive like that? Where am I?"

"I'm afraid so," she smiles kindly. "It's rather confusing in the beginning but you usually get used to it. Though a lot of people still ignore us..."

As if she realizes she's been both rude and rambling, she smiles. "I'm Excalibur. Welcome to town."

"Excalibur? What, like King Arthur's sword?" Elton asks, but gives an understanding nod, "My parents were like that, too. Named me after Elton John. So what is this place? I mean... apart from the robots it seems like Earth from the 50s." He pauses, looking over head as a car descends to land on the street. "But it's not Earth is it? I mean... it doesn't feel the same. And I know about temporal rifts and the big one in Cardiff..." He looks to her, a bit calmer, his brain catching up, "Does this have something to do with the Doctor? Or Torchwood?"
