Well, I'm moved out of the apartment that was home to me for the last three years. I'd feel better about that if I weren't living with my parents for the next two months. I'm trying to get my mind around the bar exam... and today I'm wishing I had taken community property in lawschool. Tomorrow I'll be wishing I knew more about the UCC. ( Read more... )

You are not going to believe this, but by the time the bar rolls around, you are going to be SO GRATEFUL for community property. Once you get the basic concepts down (and practicing the essays will help with that. Get on that, and ditch reading the outlines ahead of time, that's a waste of time), you'll be able to boil it all down to one stock paragraph and then fitting the facts to the concepts. It's handsdown the easiest essay in the bar.

You two aren't freaking me out too much, no. I'm freaking myself out a little... Community Property doesn't seem too hard, I think I'll just feel a little crappy every time we go over a subject I didn't take any courses in at school.

You guys want to do lunch any time next week?
