That's my impression. I guess I'm about to find out. :P It did a great job protecting my head from the ground, so I'm definitely getting another one regardless.

Thanks! I've definitely taken more spectacular (and spectacularly painful) falls, but the head-smacking part was more than a bit scary -- definitely cheering for that little helmet right now. Those Tipperaries are SOLID things. A+++, will definitely replace with same. I KNOW how hard I hit my head and there's not a mark on it, or -- more importantly -- on my skull.

The are only good once bc they work by compressing the foam in there to absorb impart.. and it doesn't uncompress.

Glad you got the new helmet! It is better that cracked old helmet and head.

What hurleybird said.

Also: I was wondering where my boots had gone. Next time I see you I'll make sure to take them with me. :)

Yay helmets indeed! Poor Flynn -- after I fell off, she was so torn between completely freaking out and worrying about me that I felt kind of bad for her. I think the loud noise was something blowing off the neighbor's roof. At least you don't have to worry about random loud noises with Bo. :P

Heh, no, but I do have to worry about my own inability to ride! I slipped off bareback and fell on my generously padded ass tonight. =p
