Tutorial 4
It was requested that I make a tutorial for the header that I posted
Here. I started off, by picking out three images of Cedric Diggory. I chose
this, this, and
this. I paste them all onto a blank 500x300 file in any random order. I wound up with
this. I then duplicate the base, and play around with the colors, and everything until I got
this. Then I changed the settings to SOFT LIGHT at 70% which leaves me with
this. I made a new layer, and filled it with #0D1940. I then set that to Exclusion at 100%, which gives me
this. I duplicated the base, and played around with that some more, then set it to Screen at 20%, which gave me
this. I duplicated that, and set it to Soft Light at 50%, which gave me
this. I duplicated the base again, and played with the settings until I got
this. I then set it to Soft Light at 37% which gave me
this. Then I used
this texture by ? (if you know who it was that made it, please tell me so I can give credit!). I set it to Color Burn at 50%, which gave me
this. Then I used
this texture by ? (if you know who it was that made it, please tell me so I can give credit!). I set it to Multiply at 30%, which gave me
this. Then I used
this texture by the very talented,
gender. I set it to Multiply at 42%, which gave me
this. I then used another
texture by
gender. I set it to Multiply at 100% which gave me
this. I really didn't like how it covered up his face in one of the main images. I used my Rectangular Marquee tool and went around that picture, and I deleted it off, which left me with
this. Ah, much better!
Then I used another
texture by
gender. I set it to Color Burn at 60%, which left me with
this. I then use a
texture by
Tre-Xture. I set it to Multiply at 100%, which gave me
this. I use another
texture by
Tre-Xture. I set it to Multiply at 100%, which gave me
this. I use one last
texture by
Tre-Xture. I set it to Multiply at 44%, which gave me
this. I duplicated the second layer, and set it to Screen at 7%, which gave me
this. I duplicated that once more, and set it to Soft Light at 70%, which gave me
this. Then I added a ton of brushes and things and as my end result I got
this My layers looked like
this. Please do not copy this tutorial word for word, make it your own! I would love to see the results that you got from this tutorial!
