OK I'm not a very adventurous traveller. I've only left the UK on a handful of ocassions but I've found Google Earth pretty handy for finding places to take my camera. hmmm is that cheating?

I was concerned to find out that Mic Rogers is still in hospital. I took her a card, chocolates and some SF books and her husband was telling me that she's been very ill and that it was touch and go when she first got into hospital. She is getting out of bed now using sticks though. So she is slowly getting better but she's been there for three ( Read more... )

Just heard from Mic's husband. She's been taken to hospital with Pneumonia. She's been sent back home once and then rushed in again on Sunday. He says she's getting better and I hope they send her home quickly.

I'll send her a get well soon card.

Me and a friend both needed to buy a switch today. He needed an 8 port Netgear switch and I needed a 5 port netgear switch. So we searched the Dixons, or rather PCWorld site and he found an 8 port switch for £22 and reserved it. I couldn't find a 5 port switch ( Read more... )
