Call Rose Furniture in High Point and ask for Sharon. You'll probably get her assistant (who used to be Susan) and tell her your dilemma. I've found them to be wonderful. Let me know if you need the number.

I just googled the store, and will give them a call. I hate the idea of having to go to high point to shop b/c I am guessing there aren't too many floor models in bright green. But...

Au contraire, mon frere. You're going to give them the order information for what you had previously ordered and they're going to come up with it. Then, if you're in a hurry, you can go get it from them. Or you can wait for delivery, which is what I'd do. It's not like you're sitting on the floor as it is.

I am dying to go to High Point, dying, I tell you. I love looking at furniture like most people love watching television.

Wow, where is this for sale? This couch might actually work really well with our furniture (though it's such a different style from the one we had originally ordered)! If only I could read that pricetag...

Apparently if you've got $700 to spare it's all yours: http://www.silkcityantiques.com/Antiquefurniture1.html

That IS sad. Gosh. I hope you find a timely solution. Can't be living without a green couch and chaise.

Also, we need to go to the new yarn store in Hillsborough so I can find something to knit up for Shrimplet.

There are worse things, certainly, but I do feel like a disappointed kid at Christmas (I just can't throw that feeling). And YES, let's do go to the new yarn store very soon!!! I'm a little crazy this week (trying to finish the last chapter of my diss, and going to Ohio for Thanksgiving, a baby shower, and maybe a funteral in chicago, ugh)! But maybe we should get you out here the weekend after thanksgiving for dinner and some shopping/hanging out!

I am going away that weekend for my b-day celebration, but I am around that week before and week after.

Reserve Dec 6 for dinner somewheres...
