[She hears his voice and just assumes the dreamberry turned on when she wasn't looking. Normally she would prevent anyone seeing her so vulnerable and weak, but right now with Draco like this, she really doesn't care. She's falling apart right now.]
Would he really? [She doesn't believe that at all. How can Draco possibly be alright without the aid, love, and affection from his mother? Her eyes don't leave Draco and holds his hand close to her heart. What is he thinking of right now? Does he feel lonely? Is he cold?]
[A dream like this stirs up memories that Naomi has long since tried to keep dead and buried. But after her surprise reunion with little Kay and her evening out at the local jazz club with a certain religious figure, all of those false life emotions are crowding in her mind and it is suddenly very difficult to pick through which are real and which are only imitation.
Thankfully, Naomi can distract herself from that mess by introducing herself to the woman who is obviously Draco`s mother.]
Mrs. Malfoy, [she greets with a warm smile despite the early hour.] it`s a pleasure to finally meet you after hearing so much from your son.
[Narcissa's eyes don't move away from Draco, her fingers tracing his cheek lightly and held his hand close to her. She's delighted to hear that Draco has spoken of her before she arrived. She's not surprised at all, of course. But hearing it is always a pleasure, though Draco's state doesn't make her feel any better.]
I wish I could say it is a pleasure as well. [Her fingers lace with Draco's and leans her head on his hand. She's much too distressed.]
[Her voice is soft and almost dead-like. That's how she feels, really.]
Not soon enough, I'm afraid. [She speaks in a whisper as she stares at her sleeping son, her eyes begin to shine once more. But she forces herself to take a breath and remain calm.]
[She hears Lucius come in, but doesn't move a muscle. Nor does she say anything. Her eyes are glued to Draco, her fingers are entwined with his as she kisses his hand.]
[After being married for more then 20 years, Narcissa knows her husband like the back of her hand. She knows when he's lying, not like he's done so before anyhow, and she knows when he hesitates. She takes notes of it and sighs. Her energy has been drained, not being able to sleep at all.
She squeezes his hand tightly, holding it close to her.]
He has shown no expression whatsoever. [She would know, she's been staring at him all day and night.]
What if he's having a terrible nightmare? And is... unable to wake up? [Her squeeze becomes even tighter now.]
[Ritsuka thinks Draco is an outright ass... but he has a mom complex. His ears droop and he sighs. He wasn't going to respond to this... Softly, he clears his throat.]
When people wake up from sleep comas, they aren't... hurt or anything. It really is just as if they went to sleep for the night for them.
sdklfds I'm sorry for the lateness!greencinderellaSeptember 13 2011, 02:29:32 UTC
[Of course not, what was she thinking. That's right, she wasn't. She is quite dead, honestly. She doesn't want to speak, she really doesn't. But she forces herself to do so. Narcissa is a lady, and ladies aren't rude.]

I apologize for the intrusion. I felt you should know that he will be alright until he wakes up.

How long does this normally go on for? [She's broken by just a day without him.]
