It's been a rough week. Not so much at school, things are slowly settling down in the classroom with my students. I only had occasional bouts of homicidal rage and the only tears this week were because of homesickness

Speaking of which, I have a student in my class that is from Fiji and she has big feet too (she's ten and wears size eight - that's 9-10 in NZ/US sizes). I told her it's because she's from the South Pacific (she loves that I'm from NZ)

Tell her not to get too excited - my feet got to that size not too soon after ten but I never grew to match them. It was a deep disappointment.

but then i read about paris and YAYYAYAYAYAY, i so have green eyes right now, and talked to my boss about having time off next year, she seem very excited for me!!

You're not going to believe this, but I know the woman who writes "This Actually Happened in my classroom" - we met through mututal friends... or something... here on LJ and I've met her once when I was in Sydney for a weekend.

Talk about 6 degrees!
