inside the US, i think everyone should go to Naples, New York City, San Francisco, and Las Vegas.

outside of the US i think everyone should go before they die to Venice, Cairo, Dubai, and the entire country of New Zealand. if you can't do all of NZ (which could technically be done in about 3 weeks), the stand-out places are Bay of Islands, Taupo (cheapest skydiving in the world!), and Franz Josef.
