I kind of disagree with you about how no one has the same gender. I feel like there are a fair amount of people who do find themselves in a category that is exactly the same as another. However, I feel like one's orientation is really fully unique. Orientation is really just preference. Not limited to guys/girls but hair color, race, height, etc.

Also, I was just reading Bob Dylan's autobiography, and he talks about a random conversation he has with this guy who says that no one was created equal. That claim is pure bullshit. This guy was a carpenter, and said that no one in those parts could cut wood as best as he could, but he couldn't play an instrument for anything. you get the idea.

yes and your opinion is very valid but you must remmeber that the categories that our society has set up these "categories" which can be very limiting. by the way that i say that no one has the same exact gender i dont mean the broader categories of male/female, i mean like the exact combination of femenimity and masculinity. for example, first semester i lived on the all gilrls floor. and yes i did love my neighbors but i did notice subtle differences in my gender in comparison to them (outside of the obvious of me not shaving my legs ect.) and though i do identify as a female to the core, my gender is still performed in a different way then them. furthermore, while i was thinking about my gender in comparison to the girls on my floor, i compared myself to my group of queer friends on campus. I could not find myself in any of them either. gender, is a spectrum (similar to the kinsey scale) and we all have to be a little bit different because our social upbrining both in the larger society and in your own personal life does effect ( ... )
