I was told last night that My husband of almost 8 years wanted a divorce. He said he gave up over 18 mos ago, he was tired of the things I Don't do, and I don't challenge him(whatever the f that means). So i was given false hope this weekend. I was expecting us to enter a new chapter, to go to counseling and hope to work things out. and up till 4pm

I'm so sorry honey. All I can say, is that it looks like he was waiting on a flimsy reason and took it. Not at all sure why, I can only hope that in the long run, it's better. Sadly that mindset never helps in the short term.
