Recap of graduation weekend to come, but for now, here is the end of the eloquent and inspiring Commencement Address given by Marion Wright Edelman at my graduation ceremony.

I believe we’ve lost our sense of what’s important as a people and that too many folks are of all races and classes are growing up unable to handle life in hard places
