When I went to EYE a few years back, it was in Wyoming. I saw the place where he was murdered. It was really disheartening...especially in a place where over 2000 Episcopalians gathered to worship. And now that we have a gay bishop in the US...?? I don't know where I was going with that, but I totally forgot that I'd been there. If you're ever up in Laramie, go check it out... Anyone will tell you the story.

omg yeah I actually have been to Laramie. It was really creepy b/c I went w/ my dad and his boyfriend. So the whole time we were there, all of us were just really silent and careful. 3 gay people in the town where Matthew Shepard was killed... it creeped me out.

its a shame it really is and he is so cute! but i guess it doesnt matter ne way bc he was gay and im not sure what you mean bu what will you do to stop the silence is this a rethorical question or and actual what would you do to stop the silence?

yeah it's a shame. what am i going to do? help people realize that hate is NOT a family value. hating someone for the way they were born is something that is disgusting and this country needs to take the time and realize that. what will i do to stop the silence? stop hate crimes. it's happened to my dad and a few others that i love but I will make SURE that it will not happen again.
